Even though I forgot the bubblewrap for our craft, everything turned out pretty cute, as you can see below. I’m also super proud that I turned The Rain Puddle into a string story. If I get my act together, I’ll try to post a video of it! Boom! Boom! worked excellently when rapped and was so good at getting the kids involved. Also we sang a lot more traditional kids songs, rather than melodies with the words changed to the theme of the week. This worked a lot better for me learning and kids/parents enjoying, so I’m going to take this Aha! moment to heart and think about doing songs a bit differently from now on.
